Harbor Wish List
We are in need of basic items to keep the shelter well-stocked, as well as to assist families as they transition into new homes. As a nonprofit organization, we are always appreciative of donations from the community, monetary or otherwise. Below is a current list of items that are needed at Safe Harbor. Items in great need are bolded.
Because of space constraints, we are only accepting NEW items. Blankets should all be twin sized. Please visit this page often, as we update this wish list on a regular basis. Due to Health Department licensing requirements, we CANNOT provide food that is expired to our residents. Please donate expired food to the local food bank (299-8464).
- Fleece blankets (for kids)
- One Bike Rack to hold children bikes
- Laundry detergent and dryer sheets
- Hand Sanitizer
- Postage Stamps
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Women's short-sleeved shirts, sizes S-XXL
- Women’s shoes (6-9)
- Tweezers and Razors
- Wipes and Diapers (size 6 and 7)
- Toothache medicine and eye moisturizer
- Canned foods (soups, veggies, etc)
- Fresh produce (apples, oranges, lettuce, tomatoes, etc)
- Canned fruit (cocktail, pineappple, pears, peaches, etc)
- Cash donations
- Every day household items (ie: can openers, utensils, dishes for 4, etc)
- Video games and systems (Genesis, N64 games, xBox games, Gamecube games)
We have plenty of tooth paste, toothbrushes, blankets, shampoo, and winter hats. :)
If you would like to donate baby blankets or infant clothing, we may be out of space. You can call Canyon Heights as an alternative at 801-402-0550.
